How this is calculated
Formula
- Convert ft → m if imperial is selected
- footing_volume = length × width × footing_depth
- pcc_volume = length × width × pcc_thickness
- Split footing_volume by selected grade ratio → cement, sand, aggregate
- Split pcc_volume by M10 ratio → cement, sand, aggregate
- Combine cement volumes → bags; combine sand/aggregate → cft (× 35.3147)
- cost = bags × ₹/bag + (sand_cft + agg_cft) × ₹/cft
Assumptions
- Foundation modelled as PCC bed + footing, both length × width rectangles.
- Choose Metric (m) or Imperial (ft) for all dimensions.
- PCC (levelling) bed always uses M10 (1:3:6) — footing uses your selected grade.
- Material split uses selected grade mix and dry volume × 1.54 for each layer.
- Cement bags are 50 kg standard Indian bags, combined across PCC + footing.
- Cost = (cement bags × ₹/bag) + ((sand + aggregate) cft × ₹/cft).
- Excavation, steel, formwork, and labour are not included — confirm grade and depth with your structural drawing.
