How this is calculated

Formula

  1. Convert ft → m if imperial is selected
  2. footing_volume = length × width × footing_depth
  3. pcc_volume = length × width × pcc_thickness
  4. Split footing_volume by selected grade ratio → cement, sand, aggregate
  5. Split pcc_volume by M10 ratio → cement, sand, aggregate
  6. Combine cement volumes → bags; combine sand/aggregate → cft (× 35.3147)
  7. cost = bags × ₹/bag + (sand_cft + agg_cft) × ₹/cft

Assumptions

  • Foundation modelled as PCC bed + footing, both length × width rectangles.
  • Choose Metric (m) or Imperial (ft) for all dimensions.
  • PCC (levelling) bed always uses M10 (1:3:6) — footing uses your selected grade.
  • Material split uses selected grade mix and dry volume × 1.54 for each layer.
  • Cement bags are 50 kg standard Indian bags, combined across PCC + footing.
  • Cost = (cement bags × ₹/bag) + ((sand + aggregate) cft × ₹/cft).
  • Excavation, steel, formwork, and labour are not included — confirm grade and depth with your structural drawing.
