Formula

  1. Convert ft → m if imperial is selected
  2. wet_volume = L × W × D
  3. dry_volume = wet_volume × 1.54
  4. Split dry volume by grade ratio → cement, sand, aggregate
  5. sand/agg shown in cft (× 35.3147)
  6. cost = bags × ₹/bag + (sand_cft + agg_cft) × ₹/cft

Assumptions

  • Choose Metric (m) or Imperial (ft) for length, width, and depth.
  • Volume = length × width × depth (converted to metres internally).
  • Material split uses selected nominal grade mix and dry volume × 1.54.
  • Cement bags are 50 kg standard Indian bags.
  • Cost = (cement bags × ₹/bag) + ((sand + aggregate) cft × ₹/cft).
